Morgan Philips Executive Search, the Digital Headhunting Company, is currently recruiting a Section head : Automation & Design for one of the biggest Manufacturing Industry actor based in GCC zone

Key Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to increase efficiency with automation

Research and design automation technology

Create a connection between information inputs, controllers and outputs

Develop tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended

Establish monitoring and QA processes

Investigate defects or errors in the technology

Develop strategies and implement automation upgrade projects to replace the obsolete control systems.

Collaborate with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure on schedule project delivery meeting the business needs.

Architect automation solutions involving DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, Oracle Database Appliance (ODA-HA), networking, Web server, Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3 automation systems, and Industrial Control Systems.

Activities

Explore and implement new ways to automate systems

Design and testing of automation equipment and processes

Programming of new automated components

Identify quality issues and write reports

Eliminate defects and errors in product and software development

Collaboration with other business units

**Requirements**:
Minimum of a BA in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar

At least 7 years of experience in industrial similar position

Automation equipment maintenance control

Robotics experience, AI, machine learning and software development

Experience in project management

Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests

Strong leadership and problem solving skills

Ability to keep up with the latest technologies

Fluent in English is required
