**Job **Description****:
We seek an experienced and dedicated Director of Water Treatment and Transmission to lead our client’s water division. Our client is a renowned organization specializing in executing large turnkey construction projects, focusing on water treatment and on-water transmission for prominent clients in the government and semi-government sectors.

As the head of the department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of water treatment projects and on-water transmission initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality and sustainable water solutions to our clients, contributing to the nation’s water infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Water Treatment Projects**: Lead the tendering, planning, execution, and completion of water treatment (industrial and commercial) projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- On-water Transmission: Oversee the design and implementation of on-water transmission projects to efficiently transport water across the country.
- **Team Leadership**: Manage a team of professionals, including engineers, project managers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- **Client Engagement**: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and providing exceptional customer service throughout project lifecycles.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards for water treatment and transmission projects.
- **Budget and Resource Management**: Develop and monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement activities to optimize project outcomes.
- **Risk Management**:Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and implement proactive measures to mitigate them effectively.
- **Business Development**: Collaborate with the business development team to identify new water treatment and transmission opportunities and contribute to business growth.
- **Reporting and Documentation**: Prepare comprehensive project reports, progress updates, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Additional qualifications in Water Treatment or Project Management will be advantageous.
- Proven experience (15+ years) in successfully managing water treatment projects and on-water transmission initiatives.
- Expertise in water treatment technologies, water quality analysis, and on-water transmission methodologies.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation principles.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving project objectives and delivering value to clients.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure..
- Knowledge of the latest theology in water treatment.
- Strong background in procurement and suppliers.
