**Business Development Director for Water Business** - Saudi Construction Group - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.**
Our client is a Saudi Arabian group of companies that has grown significantly. Power, electrical, civil, environmental, structural, commercial, industrial, high-end technology products, information technology security and solutions, communications, value-added services, geographic information systems (GIS), visualization, and real estate development are among the activities undertaken by the group.
**Specialties**
Business Development Director for Water” will provide leadership and drive business development for Business in water sector of the company to set up required resources and infrastructure with his experience and expertise in dealing with Government projects, Vision 2030 projects and international project.

**What will you do**:
- Establishing Business Development (Water) Department.
- Building business strategies for Water Market and execute them with precision.
- Identify new potential tenders from companies working for Water Sectors for Saudi Government, vision 2030 and international projects to get more opportunities and projects.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational plan for Water business development in line with strategic plan of the organization to expand business in water desalination, water transmission and waste water management in staged manner.
- Identify trends, issues and opportunities for business and forecast service and resource requirement for the respective water business.
- Investigate, develop, and implement business cases for new ventures and initiative.
- Conduct market research for relevant water business opportunities.
- Drive processes for new bids and RFPs with interdepartmental coordination for fulfil all required qualification and conditions.
- Identify potential partners in water business to cater domestic and international market.
- Build and train capacity of workforce to support growth and new business development.
- Prepare all required agreements and documents for NDA, MOU and JVs etc.
- Participate in forums, conferences and exhibitions to promote our products and services.
- Generate promotional material and promote the same by different modes.
- Contribute proactively to leadership at executive and board level.
**What do they expect from you**:
- Engineering graduate preferably with MBA.
- Minimum 15- 25 years of experience in Water Sector
- At least 5 years of experience in management of Water business development.
- Hands on experience in joint ventures, mergers, and acquisition.
- Good experience in BD, EPC contract executions in Water desalination, Water transmission and Waste water management.
- Working knowledge of required software.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to interface effectively with all stake holders.
- Good relations and connection with top global water EPC Contractors.
- Have done at least three (3) successful JVs and led many successful consortiums.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill suitable for presentation for company abroad.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
