Barge Captain

**Minimum years of experience**: 15

**Minimum qualification** : Sea Service only

**Responsibilities**:
1- Familiar with working in tight area for marine construction work.

2- Fully familiar with towing connection.

3- Working with other related teams (land, lifting, diving, etc.).

4- Monitoring weather conditions and making adjustments to routes accordingly.

5- Working with other members of the crew to ensure that all tasks associated with barge operations are carried out in a timely manner.

6- Ensuring that all safety measures are followed on board the barge at all times.

7- Inspecting the barge and its equipment thoroughly before each trip begins to ensure that it is seaworthy.

8- Operating and maintaining all equipment on board the barge, including engines, generators, pumps, and navigation systems.

9- Maintaining communication with other vessels via radio or other means to ensure safe passage of all parties involved.

10- Preparing vessel maintenance records, such as logbooks and maintenance schedules.

11- Coordinating with other crew members to ensure that cargo is loaded and unloaded safely.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jeddah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
