We are now recruiting for a **Diabetes Regional Medical Advisor - GLP-1**; this position is based in **Saudi Arabia**, could be in **Jeddah or Riyadh** as we have more than one vacancy in both cities.

**The Position**

We are currently looking for a Diabetes Regional Medical Advisor who will be providing medical and scientific support for doctors, other healthcare professionals and colleagues in support of business opportunities and strategic objectives taking into account short-, medium-, and long-term local business needs in in GLP-1 Diabetes therapy area.

The main outcome of the job is to ensure KOLs, and specialists are aware of and understand the scientific basis for and clinical usefulness of our compounds within GLP-1 Diabetes Therapy area.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Build and update scientific and medical knowledge about the entire portfolio of Novo Nordisk products, dedicating time to search for relevant information about new developments and competitors’ products.
- Identify, list and communicate with KOLs and HCPs in the practice setting (e.g., academic centres, investigators, ISSs research site) to update their understanding of relevant data in each context, as well as to build and maintain relationships to facilitate scientific exchange.
- Develop professional relationships with key internal stakeholders and external one to anticipate their needs and provide them with value-adding solutions involving Novo Nordisk products.
- Supporting Medico-Marketing scientific activities to enhance the growth of our current & future diabetes portfolio.
- Attend scientific events or symposia and support the medical affairs team providing medical information when appropriate, improving their own scientific and medical knowledge and developing professional relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Design and implement medical education programs to support the shaping/growing of our targeted markets in the diabetes area.

**Qualifications**

We require you to have at least 2 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven experience in the diabetes area. It’s expected to hold a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Medicine. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English and Arabic, and a willingness to travel inside Saudi Arabia.

To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have:

- Computer skills required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows)
- Experience in dealing with diabetes stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence
- Strong organizational skills, including efficiency and collaboration in a team environment
- Strong sense of ethics and integrity

At Clinical, Medical and Quality (CMQ) Department, we aim to improve patients’ lives by being a leading strategic partner in the generation, interpretation & communication of scientific data with relevant stakeholders, while ensuring full compliance in all our internal and external activities. We work closely with cross-functional team to support Novo Nordisk KSA business growth needs in a continuously changing environment. All CMQ activities are built on our strengths in business understanding, strategic thinking, creativity and innovation. You will be a member of the affiliate Clinical, Medical and Quality-CMQ Department and you will report to Medical Manager.
