Hse Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **HSE Engineer (Saudi National) **to join our team In this role you will **ensure that the safety plan is in compliance with corporate policy and prevailing safety requirements for the project/region.**

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Reports to the QHSE Manager and coordinates with other members of project staff.
- Assist HS specialist to implement health & safety standard on site.
- Prepare Site Safety report and ensures that safety inspection reports are disseminated to the QHSE Manager.
- Participate in internal safety reviews and site inspections.
- Check observance of the permit to work systems.
- Monitor the safety performance of contractors on site.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health standards and use of personal protection equipment.
- Sees and recognizes job hazards and notifies the concerned personnel and/or manager/officer of unsafe situation, practices or conditions at the site.
- Carry out or procure specialist HSE trainings and participate in the training of safety staff on safe work practices.
- Take part in incident investigation - Investigates all site accidents, identifies elements of the accident and unsafe conditions and acts, and determines root cause/reason for the accident and steps to take to prevent recurrence.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety.
- Requires a working knowledge of health and safety regulations and reporting procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Registered with Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Saudi Nationals only
- A certificate on safety field (NEBOSH) or internationally recognized safety profession is preferred.
