Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to maintenance work in confined spaces and inside utility boilers.

Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate controls and preventive measures.

Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to ensure adherence to safety standards during maintenance projects.

Provide guidance and support to employees regarding safety practices, regulations, and equipment usage.

Conduct safety training programs to educate employees on best practices and promote a safety-conscious culture.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for preventive measures.

Maintain and update safety records, including incident reports, training records, and safety-related documentation.

Stay informed about industry-specific safety regulations, codes, and standards to ensure compliance.

Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and participate in audits and inspections.

Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and other forums to communicate safety-related updates and initiatives.

Proactively identify emerging safety trends and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant certifications.

Proven experience in safety management, preferably in the power generation or petrochemical industries.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards related to confined spaces and utility boilers.

Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective control measures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and effectively communicate safety requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address potential safety hazards.

Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry best practices.

**Salary**: From ﷼10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dammam: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

**Experience**:

- Safety management in Petrochemicals & Power Plant: 3 years (preferred)
