**Position Summary**

The Production Supervisor is to ensure proper coordination across all the production sections Machine Shop, Electronics, PU, Assembly and packing. Makes sure that goods are ready to deliver to logistics in a timely fashion. processes. Production Supervisor should have the capability to understand Design drawings, Knowledge of process/methods involved in Production, fabrication and help production to deliver Product on time to meet target dates.

**General responsibilities**
- Comply always and fully with PIPECARE HSE requirements
- Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time)
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard PIPECARE trade secrets
- Respect and support fellow employees at all times
- Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations)
- Act in such a manner that PIPECARE’s reputation is highly respected
- Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result for PIPECARE’s final product
- Follow PIPECARE’s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required

**Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities**
- Plan and Coordinate with other sections like electronics, assembly, PU and machine shop to check the bottle necks related to mechanical parts.
- Maintain production schedules/plans for new parts manufacturing and existing parts modification in production.
- Make sure all supervisors are aware about any changes in production plan or if there is any crash order.
- Collaborate with production manager to meet the needs of production.
- Participate in short
- and long-term planning aligned with goals set by management.
- Work with all departments that contribute to the production like Electronics, Machine Shop, PU, Assembly and Packing.
- Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
- Schedule shift according to production needs and coordinate for transport as well.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff to keep production align.
- Able to adjust production plans as per urgent requirements.
- Coordinate with Supervisors/Technicians and provide support to all teams and maintain quality of all work processes in systems.
- Provide support to all total productive maintenance programs and design all fabrication processes and appropriate schedules.
- Contributing in capital equipment tooling planning and procurement, ensuring project timelines and targets are met;
- Production Supervisor support the production Managers in organizing the Production.
- Issues Work orders to Machine Shop with proposed target dates as per Production Plan.
- Work to ensure that production schedules are met and shipments to clients are completed on time.
- Co-ordinate with purchasing, production and shipping to expedite production through the manufacturing organization.
- Coordinate and expedites the flow of work, communication and materials inside or between departments within a business. This is done in accordance to the production Plan.
- Determines the work schedule based on work orders and the availability of raw materials and production capacity.
- Check with stores to ensure that production materials are available and adjust the schedule when necessary.
- Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods or engineering departments.
- Compile reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays.
- Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
- Expedite production of spare parts and establish delivery dates for spare parts orders and be designated Spares Scheduler.
- Provide administration assistance to Production Managers when needed.
- Prepare and Follow Tool Preparation plan on time as per procedure.
- Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
- Plan all materials for new products and ensure optimal utilization of all resources
- To execute all other tasks as per Plan within the assigned job role.
