5+ years in purchasing and inventory experience at a similar volume camp in Food and Beverage industry.

**General**
- Stay updated on all Namariq policies, memos, procedures, specials and promotions, etc.Stay updated on all Namariq daily formulasReport required maintenance issueAttend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduledRespect safety and hygiene of Namariq premisesRespect grooming standardsMaintain a favorable relationship with all Namariq employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale, productivity and efficiency.

**Daily Operations**
- Order food, beverage products based on established par levelsWork closely with the Catering Chef in order to achieve and maintain best quality and pricesProvide Catering & Restaurant departments with special pricing requirements or needs on a case-by-case basisMaintenance of the Food & Beverage other line expense check bookManage daily Primary Supplier relationships and activities. Places all Primary Supplier Distribution Program orders directly with supplier via telephone, computer and facsimile machine Suppliers Comparison sheet in terms of quality, price, etc.Negotiation skillsDetermines the food and beverage requirements for all catering menus, and orders according to guarantee of the menus.Supervises purchasing and storeroom staff, including interviewing prospective employees for the purchasing department; training, coaching, counseling and disciplining, to ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the purchasing department, such as ordering, receiving, issuing and storing.Supervises purchasing and storeroom staff, including interviewing prospective employees for the purchasing department; training, coaching, counseling and disciplining, to ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the purchasing department, such as ordering, receiving, issuing and storing.

**Receiving**
- Check all food & beverage deliveries for quantity and quality using daily order sheetsCompare unit price on invoices to quotation or contract prices to ensure purveyor is charging correctlyEnsure that “request for credit” or return procedure is adhered to and reflected on invoicesStamp and code invoicesComplete Food & Beverage receiving sheetObtain signatures from Catering Chef or Director of F&B on receiving sheetsForward Food & Beverage receiving sheet with invoices to accountingReconcile total food, beverage purchases with accounting monthly.
