**Overseeing the management of all Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and the establishment of new Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and ensuring proper implementation of the fund strategy, business plan, and investment policies and strategies, in addition to setting up distribution policies of the investments returns.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Strategic Duties**:
**1. **Developing the department’s work plan and assigning related activities to serve the achievement of the division’s objectives.

**2. **Participating in setting the objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the department that meets the set goals of the division.

**3. **Supervising the implementation of the department’s plans, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

**4. **Ensuring that work activities are carried out according to the pre-set performance objectives and suggesting any necessary actions to the direct supervisor.

**5. **Contributing to the division’s budget by setting the department’s budget, as well as monitoring and regulating the department’s expenditures.

**Technical & Executive Duties**:
**1. **Managing all Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), which includes setting investment policies and strategies, allocating funds, creating budgets, reporting, and optimizing the value of assets.

**2. **Establishing new funds, as well as developing and overseeing the implementation of the fund strategy and business plan with any revisions to the same throughout the life of the fund.

**3. **Establishing fund management policies and procedures and ensuring strict adherence to them, to help assure that no problems are uncovered in any performance audits that might be requested.

**4. **Ensuring that the fund management policies and procedures are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering legislation, etc.

**5. **Overseeing proper utilization of resources with timely monitoring and measurement that helps in preventing leakage of funds; thus, ensuring the desired returns on investments.

**6. **Establishing distribution policies of the investment returns to ensure profit is distributed accurately between investors.

**7. **Overseeing all funds that come into the Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and all expenditures in a timely and accurate manner.

**8. **Reviewing periodic reports about the performance and achievements of Alaqtar’s Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

**9. **Managing the Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) ratio assessments, as well as the analysis of REIT resources and revenue of the investment, to determine each investor's ratio in the Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and to ensure investment returns are divided fairly across investors.

**10. **Ensuring the separation of the received funds to avoid commingling or any accidental combining of several real estate project funds, as well as managing the separation of all Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) funds and company funds.

**11. **Managing possible exit strategies for current investors in a timely and accurate manner and as set policies and procedures.

**12. **Reviewing all Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) financial data and ensuring that the Documentation and archiving process is handled in an appropriate manner and as per the adopted policies and procedures.

**Administrative Duties**:
**1. **Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear, and workflow is running smoothly.

**2. **Preparing periodic reports with respect to the department’s activities and achievements.

**3. **Ensuring that instructions, circulars, and organizational and operational decisions are followed and implemented.

**4. **Appraising direct reports’ performance according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices.

**5. **Recommending training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of training courses.

**6. **Following up on employees’ administrative affairs such as vacations, leaves, etc.

**7. **Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position whenever the need arises.
