**Responsibilities**:

- Undertake an active role to fully support and coordinate with the Director - T&CM (Head of Funding & Liquidity) and other Senior staff of the Department in the collective efforts to maintain and further increase and diversify credit limits of APICORP from various Banks, Corporates & Financial Institutions.
- Maintain an active role in managing and controlling Treasury activities (including Multi-Currency Money Markets and Foreign Exchange), in particular those relating to Cash Management, Funding & Placements and Islamic Finance.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing, recording and settlement of Money Markets, foreign exchange & Islamic transactions for Head Office (ie. money markets deals and Islamic Morabaha deals) in the Globus system.
- Maintain regular reports on cash positions, interest rates and foreign exchange movements.
- Extend assistance to Director, Treasury & Capital Markets to increase Money Markets limits of Head Office & Bahrain Banking branch in connection with establishment of new business relationships within the GCC region. Also, maintain a database of Money Markets contacts.- Effective Management of Funding Books, ensuring Balance Sheet funding requirements are adequately met at all times, at the minimum Funding cost possible and within the Guidelines approved by Management & the Board.- Efficient Management of Balance Sheet related market risks, within the approved Guidelines.- Active role in the Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Exposures with main responsibility for the management, in accordance with current strategies as dictated by the Treasurer and/or Director Treasury & Capital Markets and in compliance with the limits & procedures as defined in the Treasury Manual Limits.- Monitor existing facilities to ensure they continue to meet corporate needs;- Manage Treasury activities; including Multi-Currency Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, Interest Rates & Currency Derivatives, in particular those relating to liquidity management, funding & placements and Islamic finance.- Formulate and maintain cash flow forecasts, and monitor APICORP’s existing banking facilities, both conventional and Islamic.- Maximize Arbitrage opportunities by obtaining the most efficient funding of APICORP’s operations.- Review regularly the Asset & Liability revaluation/FX position report to benefit from FX market fluctuations.- Execute arbitrage transactions to generate cheaper interest rate from one book to another in order to benefit the Money Market funding activities and requirements.- Maintain active and strong relationship with Government & Financial Institutions & Central Banks including all existing & potential counterparties. Also, extend assistance whenever required for bank onboarding / KYC requirements, bank limits update, etc.- Formulate and maintain cash flow forecasts, and monitor APICORP’s existing banking facilities, both conventional and Islamic.**Marketing Responsibilities**:

- To have a main role in formulating and implementing Treasury Marketing Plan, to ensure maintaining and further developing a diversified funding/ counterparty base.
- Promote and formulate Treasury’s marketing activities with regional/ international banks and financial institutions; both conventional and Islamic, to diversify APICORP’s funding base.- Maintaining, increasing and/or obtaining new facilities, including the establishment of new Interest Rate Swap counterparties both in Europe and the Middle East; and to develop existing and new Commodity Broker relationships, for APICORP Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. This will involve regular marketing trips to Middle East either by oneself or in conjunction with other marketing personnel.- Promote and formulate Treasury’s marketing activities with regional / international banks and financial institutions; both conventional and Islamic, to diversify APICORP’s funding base.- Develop and maintain new contacts and relationships with Banks and Islamic institutions and Commodity Brokers, in the Conventional and Islamic banking community, as well as to enhance existing relationships.- Pay regular visits to existing banking and Islamic relationships to broaden the business relationships and intensify the marketing effort to continue promoting APICORP as Multi-Lateral Development Bank.**Risk Management Responsibilities**:

- Review annually APICORP’s List of Approved Banks and obtain the necessary supporting documentation in order to recommend to the Head of T&CM for any additions, deletions, increases, and reductions deemed appropriate to APICORP’s treasury function. And to introduce a documented database for collating and recording the financial records, and where available external credit ratings of institutions, to assist in providing a greater statistical analysis when recommending facilities.- Regular follow-up, review, and analysis of the credit limits/facilities status of various relationship banks and financial institutions wit
