**Job Description**:
Atkins Middle East is currently looking for a **Regional **Head - Structures** to join and lead the design team in Dubai or Riyadh office.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified degree in a core design discipline (Civil/Structural) from recognised institution; Chartered Engineer (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 15+ years of post-graduate professional experience in the leadership roles
- At least 5 years’ experience on multi-disciplinary design projects
- Middle East experience is an advantage
- Digitally strong, with experience of technical design
- Software Knowledge of applicable international design standards
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety best practices in the Middle East
- Experience of UAE/KSA building design standards would be an advantage
- Proven experience of leading Structures teams, preferably in multinational companies
- Sound managerial and technical skill set Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Ability to liaise with a wide variety of staff and Clients at all levels is essential
- Be able to show Leadership skills and have excellent team building skills, Commercial awareness, administrative skills, Delegation skills, Negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to Influence people at all levels Preferably have their own client and engineering network in the region
- Should be able to demonstrate commercial awareness and a portfolio of profitable projects under ones control

**Responsibilities**
- Advising the Technical Directors and Project Directors on technical matters with in the core discipline.
- Managing quality and technical compliance
- Monitoring work executed
- Interface with other disciplines, consultants and contractors.
- Be an active part of the biding and winning team
