As part of care delivery team, assists with the daily functioning of the unit/departmentin support of patient care. Contributes to the delivery of safe, patient, and family focused quality care. Contributes to the successful achievement of departmental and Hospital strategic goals.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Works as a member of a team to provide safe patient care under the supervision of a registered Allied Health Care professional, Contributes to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators including patient satisfaction and service efficiency

2. Assists in the preparation of clinical equipment as needed to perform the required patient exam. Assists in the safe movement, handling, and transfer of patients as required.

3. Prepares patients for procedures as directed. Remains and assists with patients during and after procedure as required. Demonstrates respect and dignity towards patients/families and co-workers of any culture and of any level at all times.

4. Measures and records basic,routine, clinical measurements as required and as per policy and informs a senior member of staff of any abnormal readings.

5. Reports any adverse patient events in a timely manner to a more senior member of staff, supervisor or head of the unit/department as required. Actively welcomes patients, families, and new staff to the unit/department and communicates effectively and appropriately with them as well as the members of the healthcare team. Documents,stores, or retrieves all relevant information correctly, appropriately, and in a timely manner as required. Distributes documents as required.

6. Utilizes the Hospital Information System (HIS) or other related computer or imaging systems for entering examination or procedure details.

7. Cleans, disinfects, and stores clinical equipment and accessories and reports any equipment malfunctionas required or as per policy. Assists in maintaining rooms stocked with necessary supplies. Assists with receiving, unpacking and storage of supplies as required.

8. Assists non-Arabic staff with Arabic translation as required. Demonstrates a steady improvement in English language skills as required

9. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

10. Participates in self’s,patients’, and other’s education, training, and development, as applicable.

**Education**:
Associate Degree/Diploma in Radiography or any related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
Grade 06: Two (2) years of related experience withAssociate Degree/Diploma is required.

Grade 07:

- Four (4) years as a Radiology Technician at KFSH&RC -average of annual performance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years. - fifty (50) hours of cumulative continued medical education [CME].

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
*Current Registration from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
