As a HSE Director, you will drive a proactive, best-in-class HSE culture and performance by developing strategies to address key HSE risks, ensure regulatory and customer compliance, and enhance personal safety, driving, and environmental performance. You will work closely with the Client representative and Senior Leadership team to drive the implementation of industry-leading HSE tools, programs and initiatives, and establish action plans to achieve HSE objectives and targets. You will engage with our Clients, Contractors and Stakeholders to ensure our projects are delivered using best global practices around Health, Safety and Environment.

You will have the opportunities to develop and deliver health, safety, environment and wellbeing strategies for the project, including a clear focus on the needs of our people and our clients in delivery of premier health and safety services.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
You must be able to demonstrate the following experience and qualifications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to brief senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior management position within a large organization.
- Problem solver experienced with clearly identifying problems, evaluating alternative solutions, assessing risks, and making sound recommendations to decision makers.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse project team with demanding schedule, budgetary, safety, quality, and coordination objectives.
- Ability to set priorities that support the client’s program objectives.
- Experience working as a key member of an integrated project team comprised of employees from the client and program/project manager.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate information, identify problem trends, and develop and implement action plans to improve overall project performance.
- Recognized degree in Engineering / Science in Loss Prevention or Risk Management or Fire Protection or other Engineering degree with significant HSE experience.
- Professional Occupational Safety accreditation with NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
- Senior level position with broad technical and HSE skills with full understanding of project execution and project management
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the large/complex building and infrastructure construction in HSE field.
- Strong knowledge of Industry HSE Standards & Specifications.
- knowledge of building construction, materials, systems and trade practices is required.
- Bi-lingual Arabic/English (Read, Write, Speak) preferred
