What You Will Achieve

Your strong communication skills will come in play when you convey supervisors' instructions and production schedules in accomplishing a variety of tasks, such as meeting quality, accountability, security, productivity and safety requirements. You will ensure that all activities are completed based on Standard Operating Procedures, batch records, Current Good Manufacturing Practices and plant procedures.

As a Team leader, you will be involved in overseeing work teams within a division. You will lead the technical resources of the team. Thanks to your technical skills, you will coach your direct reports on day to day activities. You will be relied on to solve complex problems within your area of expertise.

How You Will Achieve It:
- Under the general guidance of the Department Manager and with the assistance of other production supervisors, the Production Supervisor serves as the first line of supervision within a manufacturing and packaging environment. The incumbent will supervise the work activities and assigned colleagues in any combination of the production coordinator responsibilities for shop floor operations. And ensure goals and objectives of the internal operations are achieved.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Lead and manage the products technical transfer project in cooperation with technology transfer manager & Pfizer global team.
- Ensure that manufacturing and packaging activities within the area are operated safely, comply with business objectives and local regulatory and Pfizer requirements.
- Guide and follow in all production process within the area are performed by following appropriate manufacturing & packaging instructions and relevant SOP’s and controlled within their validated parameters to maintain consistent and high product quality.
- Ensure that IPC test and start up checks are performed as required in accordance with the relevant batch record & standard operation procedures.
- To lead and supervise the production team in terms of planning, staff allocations and technical support.
- Conduct trainings for new staff in manufacturing area and develop team to acquire the edge of multi skilling.
- Develop relevant procedure and equipment alteration if required in introduction of new products.
- Perform operational activities to the planned schedule to achieve efficiency, on-time delivery of bulk product to packaging.
- Perform reconciliation of batches as per the MBR.
- Perform the cleaning activities of the Manufacturing equipment’s thoroughly so ensure that there is no risk of cross contamination.
- Assist & perform the identified equipment’s verification and calibration before its due date and to ensure the equipment’s used in within its calibration due date.
- Assist in reviewing with logistics the supply plan and generate agreed production plan to ensure on time delivery of finished product to the Factory warehouse meeting the commercial supply plan and not to have any backlogs.
- Ensure that the operations are being executed within an RFT environment with a focus on preventing errors.
- Report to production manager any change to normal plan complement to ensure appropriate actions are being taken, to maintain production efficiency.
- Assist in reviewing with logistics the supply plan and generate agreed production plan to ensure on time delivery of finished product to meet the commercial supply plan and not to have any backlogs.
- Managing and developing the team with respect to Pfizer behavioural goals
- Conduct meeting and resolve the issues related to operations with all the related stake holders to ensure smooth operations.
- Issues related to technical trouble shooting to be resolved with involment of all other stake holder.
- Actively participating in the production initiatives to achieve the site goals.

**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- Bachelor / Master degree in Pharmaceutical science, Production engineering, Chemical or Mechanical engineering, Chemistry or equivalent. With at least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical industries with relevant to manufacturing & packaging experience.
- Sound knowledges and good understanding of products and process related to manufacturing of Solid oral dosage forms.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a high energy level and initiative.
