Role Purpose
We are looking for a HSE Manager for a major construction programme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to work night shifts.

What this job involves
Manage HSE matters in delivery during the construction.

Assist in HSE training to members of the project contractors team.

Provide information, technical advice and support to all Project staff relating to HSE, including KSA legislation, standards and international codes of practice etc.

Participate in safety inspections and provide guidance as required to individuals nominated to complete designated tasks and corrective actions.

Conduct an ‘Incident Review’ of all significant incidents and provide a full report with recommendations to the Project team and regional HSE team.

Attend Monthly HSE project review meetings.

Provide HSE Project performance information to the project team and regional HSE team.

Assist in quarterly site HSE audits.

Assist project teams to review HSE considerations in the selection of service providers, LDC’s and Main Contractors through technical evaluations.

Monitor to ensure the project has a documented emergency procedure which is communicated to all personnel and tested at appropriate intervals.

Manage project consultants with the discharge of their respective HSE obligations - monitor and report on their performance.

Desired skills and experience for this
Degree Qualification is preferred but not essential.

NEBOSH or equivalent is required.

Environmental qualification would be an advantage

Excellent written and verbal skills with a fluent proficiency in English and Arabic.

Extensive Middle East experience and market knowledge.

Proactive, strong influencing skills and experience of working closely with clients.
