**Position Objective**:
It’s a leadership role in Cyber Security, Data Governance/Protection, and Network Information Security for a large telecom service provider in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal person must have telecom domain experience while leading the protection of telecom networks from malicious attacks such as denial of service (DoS) attacks, data breaches, and cybercrime and comply with regulations such as General Data Protection Regulations and Network and Information System.

**Job Description**:
Provide and implement Security of Data and Network Information systems in a Telecom Service domain.
Provide guidance for programs and projects that may involve security controls, evaluation of the Security Assessment, Risk Management, monitoring enterprise architecture, and selection of suitable software and hardware.
Report to executive management on the effectiveness of the Cyber and Digital Security and Data Governance/Protection program, including policy violations, security risks, and progress of all security-related remedial actions and metrics.
Govern the Cybersecurity incident response team, provide oversight over security investigations, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with security breaches and policy violations as necessary.
Develop and implement a risk management program for security and privacy-related areas, which includes modelling threats, identifying risks and vulnerabilities, establishing a risk analysis and mitigation plan, and reporting to executive management on both a regular and event-driven basis.
Implement a risk-based IT audit strategy in compliance with IT audit standards.
Identify opportunities to improve Cybersecurity and Data Governance posture, procedures, and methodologies.
Assists and trains other cybersecurity staff in using computerized assessment techniques, and in developing methods for review and analysis of computerized information systems.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Develop and implement an effective policy compliance monitoring and enforcement program.
Develop cyber security and data protection policies, standards, and processes that are aligned with the business needs of the company and address applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
Coordinate the use of external third-party resources involved in developing, implementing, and monitoring the information security program, including performing penetration tests.
Evaluate cyber security and Data protection controls for information systems during the requirements, acquisition, development, and testing phases for compliance with the organization's policies, standards, and procedures.
Conduct post-implementation reviews of systems to determine whether project deliverables, controls, and the organization's requirements are met.
Following up the network security standardization in the multi-vendor environments according to the well-known international standards.
Stay up-to-date on information technology & Telecom trends and security standards.

Educational Degree & Certifications

BE in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
15 to 20 years of relevant experience in Network Information System Security and Data Protection within the Telecom Domain.
Relevant certifications in Networks Technologies such as CCIE Security or JNCIE-SEC (preferred)
Relevant certification in Cybersecurity such as CISSP, CRISC or CISM (preferred)
Experience with computer network penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS.
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
Excellent knowledge of networks security technologies
Excellent knowledge of Cyber security and data protection solutions
Excellent knowledge of Telecom mobile / Fixed networks
Excellent in Advance Excel, Powerpoint
Ideal to be Native Arabic Speaker
