Our prestigious client, a provider of real estate and facilities management services, is currently seeking a qualified individual to join their team in Riyadh, KSA.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Budget Management and Supplier Relationships**:
One of the primary responsibilities of the Soft Services Facilities Manager is to ensure the delivery of soft services within the agreed budget as part of the contract. This involves implementing best practices, establishing competitive pricing, developing strategic supplier relationships, and ensuring proactive service delivery. The manager will also liaise with the supply chain to maintain a high level of quality at the site.

**2. Compliance and Security**:
The Soft Services Facilities Manager must ensure that all relevant legal requirements are met, particularly in relation to security procedures such as CCTV surveillance. This includes ensuring the compliance of the security team with regulations and standards set by DEFRA and other relevant authorities.

**3. Contract Performance and Operational Tracker**:
Supporting the overall performance of the contract is another crucial aspect of the role. The manager will be responsible for ownership of assigned operational tracker activities, supporting fee-earning "additional works" and projects, managing performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards, and overseeing training and development activities for the team.

**4. Supplier Reporting and Management**:
The Soft Services Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that third-party suppliers provide detailed monthly reports, including financial reporting if required, as well as reports on health, safety, and operational issues. This information is essential for monitoring the performance of suppliers and identifying areas for improvement.

**5. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Inspections**:
Maintaining the site's infrastructure and equipment is a critical aspect of the role. The manager will oversee the scheduling and execution of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and inspections to ensure that the site's needs are met and that all facilities are in optimal working condition.

**6. Leadership and Development**:
Providing leadership and support to direct reports is an essential part of the Soft Services Facilities Manager's role. This includes training, development, and performance management to ensure that the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

**7. Efficiency and Customer Service Improvement**:
The manager will collaborate with third-party suppliers and direct reports to identify, investigate, and implement opportunities for achieving efficiencies and improving customer service across all service lines. This may involve introducing innovative solutions and initiatives to enhance the overall service delivery.

**8. Client Relationship Management**:
Establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with the client is crucial. The Soft Services Facilities Manager will interact with key client stakeholders and end-users at all levels to ensure that their needs and expectations are met. Building trust and effective communication are key components of successful client relationship management.

**9. Cleaning and Waste Disposal**:
The manager will be responsible for managing the cleaning and waste disposal contracts to ensure an efficient operational service is provided. This includes a focus on the proper disposal and transportation of hazardous waste, as well as compliance with associated legislative controls and documentation.

**10. Productivity and Catering Management**:
Reviewing productivity measures is essential to ensure that all contractors are performing in accordance with the contract's service level agreements. Additionally, the manager will liaise with catering management to ensure that the food offering, quality of produce, and availability of food meet the agreed contracted service level. Regular reviews of the catering provision will be conducted to maintain high standards.
