**What You Can Expect**:
To manage the MENAT (Middle East, North Africa & Turkey - Including Saudi Arabia) supply chain including, but not limited to, product procurement, warehousing, distribution, asset efficiency, Customer Experience, and compliant operating practices as well as continuously evaluating Go-To-Market models in collaboration with the respective commercial and functional counterparts. The role aim is to achieve continuous, accurate and timely product supply to customers.

To act as a Center of Excellence for Operational Excellence & Last Mile Operations for all Emerging Markets Region. The role is accountable for developing & supporting execution of Operational Excellence and Last Mile Operations Strategy, Governance, and Initiatives to significantly improve the maturity of Last Mile distribution (Loaners, Consignments, Network Footprint & replenishments) across Emerging Markets. To accomplish that, the role is expected to introduce tools, dashboards, and processes to ensure predictable and sustainable results across the region while elevating operations towards a top-quartile performer.

**How You Create Impact**:

- Accountable for ensuring smooth & effective day-to-day customer service and logistic activities
- Develop & implement inventory health management and control strategy for the cluster to ensure appropriate stock levels to support current & future business with minimum excess level; including but not limited to: safety stock review, stock replenishment, quarantine stock, undeployed instruments and others.
- Perform in-depth analysis to evaluate E&O exposure and identify solutions to minimize risks impacting cluster & company P&L
- Develop & implement strategies to ensure highest customer order fulfilment and service levels
- Accountable for developing & implementing Order to Cash process measures & controls to govern internal/external interactions to ensure sustainable compliant outcomes
- Collaborate with Customers in MENAT Distributor markets & internal stakeholders to assess & enhance the maturity of Distributor Operational performance, including but not limited to: asset productivity, demand planning & forecasting, Inventory management, & compliant operational practices
- Accountable for distribution and network footprint in the cluster - cost efficient solutions, satisfy customer requirements & supports Zimmer Biomet Top Quartile pillar
- Accountable for delivering highest standards of warehouse operations (inhouse/3PL) resulting in cost efficiency & customer satisfaction; including but not limited to: warehouse management strategy, operational excellence, stock count accuracy, warehouse throughput improvement, business continuity, responsiveness to supply chain risks, resource utilization and others
- Directly manage operations related 3PL services (distribution, warehousing, customs brokerage and others) to ensure service continuity, cost control & performance management.
- Develop & implement strategies to assess and improve asset efficiency & turns for all deployed instruments & implants in the market - including but not limited to in-depth analysis, dashboards, identifying excess/shortages, influencing investment decisions, deploy/redeploy strategies, and others.
- Close collaboration with IBP teams to implement forecast accuracy improvement strategies and to have a clear/aligned line of sight for expected demand and the associated operational readiness
- Collaboration with commercial team to implement the appropriate operational strategies to support the business
- Collaborate with the respective stakeholders in implementing lean principles as well as instilling a continuous improvement culture in the Commercial Operations function
- Support Cluster Comm Ops related transformation & improvement projects to a predetermined timeline, providing status reports at each phase. Prepare and deliver to senior management detailed and professional presentations of project work
- Ensure audit, compliance, quality and regulatory requirements are fully implemented & adhered to in the operations
- Responsible for nurturing staff
