Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation, refrigeration, and other building systems within our distribution facility. Perform systems evaluations on facilities and determine what installation or repair services needed. Manage a budget, and create calculations to ensure operational efficiencies.

**Accountabilities**

**Maintenance Operations**:

- Ensure outsourced contractors deliver services as required, by monitoring their performance and monitoring their maintenance activities, in order to ensure that preventive maintenance conducted as per schedule.
- Ensure the dissemination of knowledge among the maintenance staff by training or coordinating training in maintenance and safety methods, procedures, and techniques.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations by overseeing all work in progress to ensure abidance to Nahdi’s guidelines as well as ensure quality, timeliness and safety of maintenance activities.
- Assign and schedule work tasks with other facility technicians in a team-oriented environment, and perform initial evaluations of building systems and distribute work assignments.
- Assess team members’ individual performances to ensure quality operations, and investigate any and all accidents caused by team members, and prepare relevant reports.
- Build the Maintenance Plan to evaluate needs for all work requests—both scheduled and unscheduled—as well as any special projects that arise.
- Coordinate and follow up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, and any other mechanical systems.
- Coordinate and assist in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Read blueprints and plan projects to complete assigned tasks, and coordinate and follow up on incidental carpentry, masonry, and painting and plaster work.
- Review and maintain maintenance logs and maintenance budgets, and complete any and all documentation necessary to the completion of a task.
- Guide the team how to dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established safety & quality procedures.

**Facility Status**:

- Provide the Facility manager with reports about the status of maintenance works in addition to root cause analyses to get to know the reason for breakdowns in order to take the necessary action by providing training himself or through a 3rd party on operating machinery.

**Team Management**:

- Manage the performance of the assigned team through monitoring the KPIs achievement, coaching, following up any obstacles, provide performance feedback and conversations, coaching etc to ensure the achievement of the set objectives.

Employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.
