Review BAC Service Alerts and review service availability(DB) by taking necessary action

Review the performance reports to take necessary step Performance Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Tuning

Analyse bottlenecks and take necessary steps to eliminate them
- Automate the statistics component of the database on a weekly basis to keep performance stable Capacity Planning and Management

Monthly and Quarterly capacity report for identifying the data growth in databases Plan the Capacity enhancements as per the findings from the capacity report Request Management

Business requests for data extraction from the DB

Business requests to modify certain data in the DB

DB Account Management

Testing Team (SIT/UAT) requests Change Management

Data Adjustment changes

Security changes

Post change analysis of the database and its performance

Audit (internal or external) request which may include creation of new environment at times Release management, Support development, SIT and UAT during development and testing phase of the release

Review all the release documents and scripts to decide on the best plan of action for implementation
- Roll out of the releases in production

- Support internal and external audit of the databases
- Daily review of failed login attempts into the production database
- Verify the completion of daily health check for all DBs

- Automate the housekeeping of the RDBMS log files and trace files on a weekly basis
- Automate the rebuilding of the indexes on all the databases on a weekly basis
- Generate reports on object fragmentation on weekly basis and take necessary actions to defragment the same

Automate the house keeping jobs that do not require a downtime

Manually plan and perform the housekeeping Risk and Compliance management

Perform yearly and adhoc BCP DR exercises Database Masking (Cloning)

Prepare the staging environment and the target environment as a copy of production

Gather the data to be masked and convert to masked data and finally load it into the target database Database Backup and Recovery Management
- Prepare the scripts required for automating the backup

Perform database restore as per the request from business, development, SIT, UAT or Audit
