**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **_Job Summary_**
- The Ministry of Defence Health Services (MODHS) is undergoing a healthcare service transformation, with the goal being to position MODHS as the best healthcare provider in the country. In Nursing this will be achieved primarily through the adoption of Magnet principles. The Nursing Supervisor will help drive and deliver required changes in collaboration with other disciplines and stakeholders._
- Responsible for Nursing Administration’s clinical and administrative operations to support the department’s nursing leadership team in the overall operations of nursing service within the facility, specifically meeting targets/deliverables under their authority and/or delegated/assigned._
- Provides leadership, managerial and clinical expertise link between the Nursing Administration’s executive and senior nursing leadership team. The Nursing Supervisor represents the Director of Nursing after regular office hours/weekends, in the absence of any other nursing leadership in the organization._

**_Education/Licensure_**

**_Education:_**
- Essential_: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution of Nursing._
- Preferred_: Master’s degree in Nursing or health-related field._

**_Professional Licensure:_**
- Essential_: Valid license and registration in home country (non-Saudi nationals)._
- Essential_: Registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as a Specialist or higher._
- Essential_**_: _**_BLS Certification_

**_Professional Experience_**
- Essential_: Minimum 5+ years progressive recent nursing experience, including 2+ years nursing leadership/management experience, exclusive of fulltime study period._
- Essential_: Active participation in or have co-led/led an improvement project or initiative._
- Essential_: Participation in accreditation processes as a nurse leader required (e.g. JCI, CBAHI)._
- Preferred_: Magnet journey experience._
