As a Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in the procurement process, ensuring that the company's purchasing activities run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors. Your expertise in market trends and knowledge of industry regulations will contribute to optimizing our procurement strategies and achieving cost savings for the organization. **Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolving any issues, and ensuring continuous improvement in supplier performance.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier diversification.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role within the Oil & Energy industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and conditions.
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
- In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Energy industry, including market trends, regulations, and supplier landscape.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
