Riyadh, Saudi Arabia King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre Full time

Provides professional support to the department on research, development and maintenance of all Hospital Policies. Recommends new or revised policies to meet requirements, and conducts studies in the field of Policy Development.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1.Develops, reviews and analyses proposed and existing Hospital policies and/or procedures.

2.Assists in the planning and organizing of the analyses and evaluation of all valid Hospital policies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

3.Conducts a periodic systematic review of Hospital policies and/or procedures.

4.Assists in the development of an integrated policy system involving archival, tracking, review, research, monitoring and evaluation for the Hospital Charter, Bylaws, Administrative Policies and/or Procedures (APPs), Manuals, and other policy documents.

5.Assists with the maintenance of the archival and retrieval of all Hospital policies.

6.Monitors all policy related issues to ascertain need and validity of all Hospital policies in meeting organizational needs and to ensure conformity, efficiency and effectiveness.

8.Organizes and develops a study plan or statement of objectives for assigned projects. Consults with concerned Hospital staff as necessary; researches and gathers data; and prepares and submits reports as required.

9.Maintains knowledge on current trends in specialty and makes recommendations for improvement. Assists in the development of recommendations enhancing Hospital operations and effectiveness. Lends technical support to other sections as required.

10.Participates in the development of the section Internal Policies and/or Procedures (IPPs), and the development and maintenance section manuals.

11.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

12.Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.

13.Performs other related duties, as assigned.

**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Management, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration or other related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
Five (5) years of related experience with Master’s or seven (7) years with Bachelor’s Degree in the field of policy development, with experience in similar duties and functions of this job, in a Hospital setting or a large public organization is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Saudi National only.
