- Qualifications and Knowledge
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Current certification/licensure to teach PE
- An advanced degree in a related field of study
- Knowledge of the SHAPE Standards
- Knowledge of Understanding by Design (UbD) principles
- Experience and Skills

**Experience**
- Teaching PE at the elementary school level in an international context
- Leading and inspiring elementary students to be active and healthy
- Organizing events and competitions
- Documenting curriculum according to _Understanding by Design (UbD)_ principles
- Designing programs based on the SHAPE Standards
- Collaborating in a professional setting with large and small groups of colleagues
- Leading groups of students and faculty
