**Why do we need you?**
- Ensures all products are tested and approved according to the company’s QA/QC manual procedures.
- Performs a wide variety of research, Laboratory tasks, and experiments, makes detailed observations, analyzes data, and interprets results
- Summarizes and report all experiments conducted and their respective results.
- Performs all tests required by the central laboratory to improve existing products and validate new products or raw materials.
- Develops, and improves Laboratory experiments and addresses all troubleshooting needs to central R&D and takes approval to implement any new idea.
- Prepares a monthly report to be delivered to the Head of Central Research and Development and Technical Support along with updated formulations file. These documents should be sent during the first week of each month.
- Issues all the Fabrication Sheet of the material to be produced.
- Instructs technicians in the preparation of specimen and samples for Sales Team.
- Experiments and conducts trials to determine feasibility of modifications as advised by concerned managers. Implementation of any change on formulation needs to be discussed with the central laboratory for approval.
- Communicates needs of chemical material and equipment for the Laboratory to the Factory Manager and the Purchase department.
- Makes sure Laboratory instruments are well maintained and co-ordinates necessary repairs with appropriate service personnel
- Identifies, classifies, labels, and stores hazardous waste samples for disposal knowing that laws governing these procedures are complex and specific.
- Maintains an inventory list for all chemical products necessary for the Laboratory, keeping a minimum required quantity.
- Supervises helps and trains Laboratory Technicians in learning job requirements to enhance their understanding and productivity.
- Prepares a daily program for lab technicians on the different tasks to be performed.
- Trains sales team on all SODAMCO’s range of products whenever requested.
- Provides on site assistance for trouble shooting and advise clients whenever required from the Product Manager.
- Guides Laboratory Technicians in experiments.
- Reports to Factory Manager on any quality problems to ensure that proper decision is made.
- Issues certificates for finished products upon request.
- Investigates on products and quality defects in case of any clientele claims.
- Assumes responsibility for the Laboratory cleanliness and its equipment.
- Follows up on tests in independent laboratories or on sites.

**Is this job for you?**
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalence.
- Experience in a Laboratory setting and familiarity with construction chemical products.
- Good command of the Arabic and English languages.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work with accuracy and precision.
