- Able to handle pumping station and gas station, Able to control through HMI.
- Control water and gas flow by tracing lines, opening/closing valves, and operating appropriate pumps as determined by line usage or product.
- Operates pumping equipment to transfer raw water to treatment plant, or distribute processed water to plant: Turns valves, pulls levers, and flips switches to operate and control motor-driven pumps that transfer water from reservoir to treatment plant, or to transfer processed water to consumer establishments.
- Reads flow meters and gauges to regulate equipment according to water consumption and demand.
- Inspects equipment to detect malfunctions, such as pump leaks or worn bearings.
- Records data, such as utilization of equipment, power consumption, and water output in log.
- May operate equipment to treat and process raw water.
- Ability to read test water data for chlorine content, alkalinity, acidity, or turbidity to determine portability of water, following color analysis standards.
- Ability to understand the operation and maintenance of cooling tower, heat exchangers, air compressors and air dryer.
