Chief Surveyor

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage surveying activities within the Geotechnical Division
- Plan and coordinate surveys to collect geotechnical data, including soil composition, rock formations, and ground conditions
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to conduct surveys and produce accurate data
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports and charts for project teams and clients
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices related to geotechnical surveying
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior surveyors within the division

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Chief Surveyor, preferably in the geotechnical field
- Expertise in using advanced surveying equipment and software
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience in managing surveying teams and projects
- Good organizational and leadership abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to geotechnical surveying
