The Head of Analytics & Reporting will have day to day responsibility for transforming NTL’s data into meaningful business insight that is aligned to its vision and strategy. The role will be responsible for managing the processes and people required to ensure accurate data collection, processing, modelling, analysis and reporting. The role will lead the business through all efforts that drive business performance and potential by using existent and new data sources and techniques. The role will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure NTL’s requirements are fully understood and the data is presented to the business in a simple and engaging way, whilst making insightful recommendations.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Lead a team that will work closely with all business areas to capture BI requirements and deliver insight that aligns with the NTL vision and strategy
- Drives the development and implementation of the NTLs data & analytics platform
- Understand business requirements to build data infrastructure using big data technologies
- In charge to drive day to day analytical approaches and exploring solutions to problems
- Involve in the management of the business’s overall analytical needs and opportunities
- Actively propose and develop innovative solutions to generate business insight from data
- Participate in identification and resolution of issues and lead efforts toward solutions
- Utilize scientific methods, artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to derive insights from the business data model.
- Create new data-driven approaches for purpose of generating business insights through data analytics and information visualization
- Work closely with other functions in integrating data, reporting and analytics
- Act as supplier to the business but also challenge business requirements where appropriate and prioritise demand based on business need, with support from the PMO
- Ensure the effective sourcing, modelling and storage of data that is reliable and ready to be used to develop business intelligence
- Oversee the provision of BI / reporting on all the identified KPI areas specified in NTL KPI requirements document through the creation and development of BI reports in Microsoft Power BI, and support the various business teams to update and maintain their BI dashboards as required
- Establish and deliver a consistent approach to measuring metrics / KPIs across the business
- Support the PMO to drive the data culture across the organisation
- Oversee the definition and delivery of data governance approaches, principles and processes
- Define, embed and drive master data management approaches, principles and processes
- Establish the processes for maintaining the Power BI reports and upskilling the business to use them effectively

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree Qualified; role related (Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics), from an accredited institution
- PMI membership / certification or APM membership / Charter Project Manager is preferred AACE membership / certification or RICS membership / Chartered Surveyor is preferred
- Experience of Business Intelligence reporting design and implementation Experience embedding processes and managing change Experience of Data Warehouse and ETL solutions Experience using Power BI
- 15+ years of experience in relevant field
- Excellent Project Management skills
- Experience of working on major projects / within large Programme Management Offices (PMO’s)
- Ability to provide technical direction and creative vision to highly skilled teams
- Process driven. Extensive experience of developing and implementing business systems / technical delivery processes / software and tools
- Programme level understanding of organizations; highly skilled in gap analysis and requirements capture
- Extensive Enterprise Project Management experience
- PMIS Software knowledge: Primavera, Unifier, Ares Prism, Aconex, Proliance, PM Web
- Able to understand the business need / requirements and present complex information to the business in a simple and engaging way, whilst making insightful recommendations
- SQL skills desirable but not essential
- Track-record and strong understanding of KPI / Metric principles
- Strong Reporting & Analytics skillset with previous experience managing a team
- Strong personal influencing and communication skills to challenge the business and achieve compromise
