**Requirements**:
**Primary Responsibilities (Deal Sourcing)**
- Establish and lead BECO Capital's presence in KSA, acting as the primary point of contact for founders in the market.
- Represent BECO Capital at relevant industry events and conferences, positioning the firm as a leading VC player in KSA.
- Identify and source high-potential startup deals by building strong relationships with entrepreneurs, accelerators, incubators, and other key ecosystem players.
- Participate in calls with Saudi-based startup founders, manage relationships and communication with them, and log conversations into our tech stack.
- Track and manage pipeline of new potential deal flow in Saudi Arabia to ensure BECO has real-time visibility on the status of deals and data (via our tech stack) and present it to the wider investments team as needed.
- Collect all relevant information needed for quarterly reports and contributing to creating reports.
- Track trends in Saudi and develop a deep understanding of the local startup ecosystem, including the unique characteristics of Saudi founders and the market's opportunities and challenges, and provide local insights and market intelligence to the Dubai team.

**Secondary/Mid-Term Responsibilities **(Investments)
- Assist the investments team on the due diligence process for Saudi-based investments.
- Contribute to the monitoring of Saudi-based portfolio companies.
- Perform valuation modeling for investment opportunities, sensitivity analysis to address risks and produce differentiated scenarios to test IRRs and returns.
- Conduct product demos and testing, providing summaries and feedback on the experience along with product comparisons.
- Gather research and analysis for deal primers and investment memos for new investments.

**Skills & Behaviors**
- Has approximately 5 years of experience in VC, PE, investment banking, or startups and has a strong personal interest in VC and startups.
- Has an existing network within the Saudi startup ecosystem, including connections with entrepreneurs, accelerators, incubators, and other key stakeholders.
- Has experience and proven success in sourcing and evaluating tech startups in KSA; has an understanding of the business landscape and KSA market dynamics that impact the technology sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent the firm effectively and professionally to various stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter, has the ability to work independently and under pressure, and has a natural sense of ownership and urgency.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and meticulous working habits.
- Proficient and fluent in Arabic (Arabic speaker, writer, and reader).
- Digitally native and tech savvy; has a propensity to leverage tech to make themselves efficient in their work and use data driven insights for the continuous improvement of deal sourcing.
