Supply Chain Coordinator & Customer Support

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the supply chain of packaging materials from customer order to production, delivery & documentation. Also be a point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, ensuring individual goals are channelized towards self & team performance.

Key responsibilities
- Manage customer’s orders:

- Handle the processing of orders with accuracy & within the specified timelines)
- Verify terms and conditions with agreed customer terms.
- Monitor and negotiate with internal & external customers for turnaround of non-performing sku’s
- Adjust order size to match logistics requirement versus production requirements.
- Check L/C conditions as well as other payment terms.
- Coordinate with banks for LC clauses/documentation & document processing
- Place PO in SAP system and follow up with production sites the confirmed order, EXW date
- Utilize the available systems for order entry, monitoring, scheduling, analysis & reporting
- Prioritize the order in case of emergency orders or bottlenecks in production.
- Coordinate with Sales/ Customer, factory & forwarders to make sure that the information is conveyed through the whole supply chain.
- Coordinate with Chamber of Commerce, insurance & inspection companies to fulfill documentation requirement
- Prepare Shipment / LC /commercial documents.
- Ensure on time cost & revenue booking of various supplier invoices
- Convey the quality claim from customers to the quality department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure queries are handled efficiently.
- Analyze customer forecast planning file and give feedback on customer order trend and in market activities.
- Add value to supply chain by contributing to various departmental projects on digitalization & process improvement.

You bring these skills, experience & education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Science, or Supply Chain
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with focus on Order Management and/or Logistics/ Freight Forwarding.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is desired.
- Advanced level of knowledge of MS Office is mandatory.
- Analytical skills and experience in Letter of Credit & ERP Platform is desired.
