To support the implementation of the Bl & Analytics Dept, mandate and objectives which includes supporting the business units to use the information in their decision-making and adopt the Bl concept to increase the ROI on the investment on Bl infrastructure.

The BI Supervisor will have to supervise, assist and coach the Junior members of each team in their day-to-day activities and transfer the knowledge and expertise to the members under his supervision

**Responsibilities**:
**Policies, Processes & Procedures**
- Participate in Developing, recommending & implementing the data architecture framework, guidelines, processes, procedures & controls for the data warehouse, operational data repository & Bl data marts

**Day-to-day operations**
- Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work

**Bl Reporting & Visualization**
- Develops and automates the production and publication of business unit’s standards and approved reports and ensures alignment with the information management, reporting concepts and techniques
- Supervise & coach the non-experienced members of the Bl Reporting team and share the knowledge

**Advance Analytics & Data Mining**
- Conducts the needed statistical analysis for the business units to ensure that the strategy requirements are defined and supported
- Supervise & coach the non-experienced members of the Advanced Analytics team
- and share the knowledge

**Bl Architect & Information Governance**
- Maintains the EDW, data mart architecture, design and data model to provide the best possible support for all Bl & Analytics Dept, and the business units
- Documents and publishes information about EDW and its associated Data marts structure and data model
- Utilizes data profiling and quality tools, to uncover and determine the root causes of data quality issues

**Change & Project Management**
- Supports all internal Bl & Analytics Dept, on new projects to ensure they are implemented in an effective and timely manner
- Monitors Bl & Analytics Dept, processes to ensure that IT is informed and alignment with the SLAs
- Documents and tracks business requirements received by the Bl & Analytics Dept, to ensure that prompt actions and solutions are recommended
- Ensures the completion of business requirements and proper documentation and publication of results

**Communication & Transfer of Knowledge**
- Works with business unit representatives to understand their strategy, and requirements and obtain an understanding of the business objectives to identify business unit standards and approved list of reports
- Collaborates on the Bl & Analytics Dept, defined processes to capture, document, publish and communicate Bl reporting in line with best practices
- Collaborates with IT to ensure that they are updated with all the changes in the business requirements, data and systems

**Continuous Improvement**
- Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

**Reporting**
- Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards

**Safety, Quality & Environment**
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

**Related Assignments**
- Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science of Information Technology
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the design and implementation of Enterprise Data Warehousing environments in a financial institution
- English knowledge

**Technical knowledge areas**:

- Understanding of the bank’s strategy, objectives, products and services
- Leadership and resource management
- Knowledge of the architecture required for data management
- Knowledge of the operations, products and services of banks and financial institutions
- Knowledge of information management concepts, technologies, and practice
- Understanding of the EDW and data mart principles and structure
- Understanding of database structures, as well as the Bl layer for the different
