**Essential Responsibilities**
- Horizontal and vertical balancing Gas turbine rotor components.
- Knowledge of balancing Machine Setup.
- Ability to perform static and Dynamic balancing.
- Ability to understand the balancing requirement from the Documents.
- Well versed with use of Microsoft Office Tools.
- Ability to perform mechanical Setup of the machine.
- Capable to operate Overhead Cranes.
- Ability to read the Mechanical drawings.
- Understanding of the tolerance requirement for balancing.
- Ability to understand & operate balancing machine software
- Work closely with Supervisors Engineer to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Will be required to perform efficiently with little or no supervision.
- Capable to use instrument for measurement check
- Follow 5S (Sort, stabilize, shine, standardize, sustain) Lean Principles, safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge in the disassembly, inspection, and assembly of gas turbine rotor is required.
- Carries out independently tensioning/ tightening of the rotor parts by using hydraulic tools. like torque wrench, Tensioners H-pump with up to 25,000 PSI or more.
- Ability to use the measurement tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, depth, and dial gauge.
- Ability to use mechanical hand tooling and having knowledge of their functionality.
- Comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Align with the company Quality Policy and applicable rules and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret work Instruction and process prints/engineering drawings
- Ability to blend and grind rotor parts

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- High School,Technical Diploma or Technical College degree.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a mechanical technician in gas turbines assembly or repair.

**Desired Characteristics**
- Crane Operator Certificate.
- Forklift Operator Certificate
- NDT level I or Level 2 Certificate
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software is preferred.
