Partner with the best

As a Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will support the maintenance of tools used for our Drilling and Formation Evaluation services. You will be following specific procedures to assemble, inspect and test equipment and ensure quality and reliability. You will ensure your duties are carried out according to Baker Hughes and Health & Safety practices.

As a Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Providing technical guidance for troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling, and performing visual inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies to ensure quality
- Review procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy.
- Reviewing and implementing maintenance processes improvements to enhance quality, reliability, turnaround times and minimize costs
- Providing supervision, mentorship, and leadership to technicians in the absence of the supervisor/manager
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
- Configure test stations and systems.
- Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Assist in the set-up of experiments and the recordings of experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups.
- Test and evaluate the performance, and if required, repair general purpose test equipment.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Technical Diploma or Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical field.
- Minimum of 3 years in maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function
- Proficient in the use of various measurement equipment.
- Advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.
- Advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro-mechanical devices.
