**Job Summary**:
The Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of an organization's financial records. This position involves performing various accounting tasks, such as preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable by processing vendor invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Monitor accounts receivable, generate customer invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.

3. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate classification and coding of financial data.

4. Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and variance reporting to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis results.

5. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, working closely with relevant departments to gather necessary inputs and monitor budget performance.

6. Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, prepare bank reconciliations, and manage petty cash to ensure proper cash management and accurate recording of transactions.

7. Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.

8. Taxation: Assist with tax-related matters, including preparation and filing of tax returns, compliance with tax regulations, and coordination with external tax advisors.

9. Financial Systems and Processes: Contribute to the improvement and optimization of financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

10. Financial Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation, in accordance with record-keeping requirements.

11. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and management, to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to overall financial performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (additional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are advantageous).
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably within a corporate or organizational setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and applicable regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of gender diversity and commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable work environment.

**Salary**: Up to ﷼11,000.00 per month
