**Responsibilities**:
**Essential Job Functions**:

- Manage all planning aspects of projects; help to coordinate department scope of work and project requirements with Project Management and other disciplines.
- Support the Discipline Managers in other departments in the development, advancement and enforcement of the firm's standards, policies and procedures.
- Assess staffing needs and provide input regarding hiring, promotions and disciplinary actions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and other essential interests to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Document Control on document release workflows as related to software standards and deployments (ProjectWise, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Word.)
- Support IT on the deployment of software
- Assist Business Development, Marketing, and Project Management in responding to new business opportunities, including preparing proposals and participating in presentations.
- Develop the department competencies and take an active role in staff career development. Recommend training to staff and planning for development of same. Encourage and support licensing, professional society membership and continuing education of staff.
- Assist with annual performance reviews by providing input for yearly staff evaluations and participating in performance discussions, as requested.
- Mentor staff in gaining an understanding of the appropriate level of professionalism, including communication, composure and appearance.
- Actively participate in professional organizations and activities, including after-hours functions, events, and promotions.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
**Education**: Bachelors degree in an A/E discipline or related Construction field required

**Experience**:

- 10+ years of related and progressively more responsible experience dealing with software related issues, training and A/E team production support
- Previous experience in a lead role preferred

**Skills/Competencies**:

- Fundamental understanding of computers and design technologies. Should be highly skilled in the use of:

- Microsoft Office 365 Applications
- Microsoft Teams
- Autodesk Revit
- Autodesk Navisworks
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Autodesk Recap
- Autodesk Dynamo knowledge a bonus
- Bentley ProjectWise
- BIM 360
- Bluebeam
- High Definition Laser scanning software and equipment (Leica, Faro and UAVs)
- Individual should be able to lead a diverse team through the challenges of day to day staff support and software development.
- Skilled at building consensus among a diverse group, helping them find a path to optimum performance and implementation strategies.
