**The Role**

Hewlett Packard Enterprise intends to appoint a new Country Managing Director for HPE Saudi & Gulf. This role will report into the Managing Director of the UK, Ireland, Middle East, South Africa region and will hold leadership responsibility for ensuring excellence of operations across Saudi Gulf. The MD will leverage HPE’s globally renowned expertise to meet the aspirations of the Kingdom under its Vision 2030 strategy. We expect strong growth and strategic projects to fuel the Saudi Gulf business growth

The MD will have significant P&L responsibility and be the figurehead for a workforce in excess of 150 people. The Country MD is the senior Hewlett Packard Enterprise leader to employees, customers, partners, government and press in their country. They have key responsibilities across the following areas:
**Business Strategy**
- Develop & manage a country-wide growth plan
- Ensure the most effective and efficient organisational set-up to deliver business targets and other Key Performance Indicators. (e.g. Employee Engagement, Customer Satisfaction)
- Communicate and align all businesses towards company strategy internally and externally (press briefings, keynotes, articles)
- Lead alignment on location strategy implementation activities
- Build relations with Strategic Partners and Alliances to develop new business opportunities in the market
- Suggest investments into core future business creation opportunities to senior management
- Drive Vision 2030 engagement and Saudization priority with focus to develop the next generation of Saudi leaders
- Aim to be the best private sector employer in the KSA
**Sales**
- Promote & support selling across the portfolio
- Communicate and align all businesses towards company strategy internally and externally (press briefings, keynotes, articles). Articulates strategic sales plans that reflect HPE’s business strategy to advance sales and ensure profitability for HPE. Support and sponsor large deals, including resolving pricing issues
- Represent applicable HPE entities in customer and partner meetings, conferences, and events
- Own resolution of customer escalations
- Ensure optimum use of field selling cost budget to achieve order targets
- Accurately forecast budget achievements and develop timely mitigation plans
- Create and sustain a winning Sales culture.
**Legal**
- Legally represent applicable HPE entities
- Provide support to HR in the management of local works councils and unions, including participation in information/consultation and negotiations as appropriate
- Comply and drive compliance with applicable HPE entities policies and laws and regulations
- Drive compliance with applicable HPE entities Standards of Business Conduct and act as local owner for escalations
**Fiduciary**
- Own country P&L (balance sheet/cash flow), sales forecast and performance for applicable HPE entities
- Financial signatory for applicable pension, significant bank movement, statutory financial statements, VAT/GST, Payroll, etc.
- Own fiduciary duties to the company and shareholders for applicable HPE entities (act in good faith and best interest of the company)
- Understand applicable HPE entities country tax strategy along with other legal and corporate tax strategy
**Crisis Management**
- Lead crisis management and business continuity and is legally responsible for the applicable HPE entities action
- Enable and execute the Environment, Health, and Safety plan for the applicable HPE entities
**Business Operations**
- Lead the country HPE management teams
- Lead country reviews with senior executives
- Ensure appropriate staffing of applicable HPE entities in alignment with worldwide organization design
- Enable and implement the country marketing plan for the applicable HPE entities
- Enable and execute the Social Innovation plan for the applicable HPE entities
- Drive alignment and implementation of the applicable HPE entities company initiatives
