Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the governance framework, policies, and procedures for the project, ensuring that they are aligned with local and international regulations and project standards.
- Lead the governance function, including risk management, compliance, internal control, and corporate governance, ensuring that it is efficient and effective.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure that governance requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain the project risk management plan, ensuring that it is comprehensive and proactive in identifying and managing risks.
- Provide governance advice and support to project teams, ensuring that they understand their governance responsibilities and obligations.
- Develop and implement the project compliance plan, ensuring that it is up-to-date and comprehensive in addressing all relevant regulations and standards.
- Monitor and report on governance performance, ensuring that any issues or non-compliance are identified and addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct regular governance audits and reviews, ensuring that they are objective, comprehensive, and constructive in identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage governance-related issues, risks, and opportunities, ensuring that they are identified, assessed, and managed effectively.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, law, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in governance or a related field, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures, including risk management, compliance, internal control, and corporate governance.
- Proven track record of successfully managing governance functions for large infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
- Willingness to work on a demanding project schedule and to relocate to North West Saudi Arabia for the duration of the project.
