Visual Merchandiser

VISUAL MERCHANDISER ( INDIA, NEPAL, PAKISTAN)

We are looking for an innovative visual merchandiser to assist in generating sales

through creative retail displays that capture buyers’ attention, with the goal of

providing an excellent in-store experience. You will employ visual merchandising

principles to convert window shoppers into prospects by driving branding and sales

objectives to maximize profitability.

To be successful as a visual merchandiser you must ensure our store’s visual

appearance is maintained to the highest standard, always.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Creating and implementing a visual merchandising strategy for the store and the strategy is in line with the store’s brand, products, and target market.
- Determines call schedule by reviewing priorities with supervisor and discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.
- Maintains store shelves by observing displays of company products, removing damaged or freshness-dated products, tidying store shelves, and providing optimum display of products.
- Ensure uniformity of displays across multiple store locations and monitor those shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
- Helps field sales representatives with new product launches or special/seasonal promotions by setting-up displays or festive themes, checking daily on special promotions, observing customer reactions to special promotions, forwarding observations to management and removing promotions at end of the special promotion period.
- Generating sketches of visual displays that meet the store’s visual design requirements and creating detailed floor plans for display areas.
- Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers.
- Monitor cost, rotate and store inventory based on sales and intake.
- Reviewing customer feedback to predict sales and market trends and seasonal stock demand.
- Sourcing the props, creative materials, and accessories for displays.
- Installing and setting up window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays.
- Assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts on sales figures.
- Researching lifestyle and design trends that will inform the visual merchandising strategy.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, spatial design, interior design, retail management, or a related field (preferred).
- Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
- Proven work experience as a visual merchandiser or visual manager is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in retail or merchandising with pets products and pets accessories
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service.
- Comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work.
- Experienced in using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator,
- Photoshop, InDesign, or other visual design tools are an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
