As a Façade Maintenance Consultant, your role is to provide expertise and guidance on the maintenance, repair, and preservation of building façades. You will work closely with building owners, facility managers, architects, and contractors to develop comprehensive façade maintenance strategies and ensure the longterm performance and safety of building exteriors. Your objective is to assess, recommend, and implement proactive maintenance measures to mitigate deterioration, improve energy efficiency, and enhance the aesthetic appeal of building facades.

**Responsibilities**
- Façade Inspection and Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of building façades to assess their condition, identify potential issues, and document findings. Evaluate the performance of façade systems, including cladding, windows, sealants, and structural components. Utilize industry-standard assessment methods and tools to identify areas of concern.
- Maintenance Planning and Strategy: Develop customized façade maintenance plans based on the specific needs and characteristics of each building. Define maintenance priorities, schedules, and budgets. Determine appropriate maintenance techniques, materials, and resources required for optimal performance and longevity of the façade.
- Repair and Restoration Recommendations: Provide recommendations for façade repairs, replacements, or restoration based on the assessment findings. Identify and prioritize critical repairs to address safety concerns and prevent further deterioration. Specify appropriate repair materials, methods, and contractors.
- Energy Efficiency Enhancement: Evaluate the energy performance of building façades and identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements. Recommend measures such as insulation upgrades, window replacements, shading devices, and solar control strategies to optimize thermal performance and reduce energy consumption.
- Waterproofing and Weatherproofing: Assess the water management systems of building façades, including drainage, waterproofing membranes, and sealants. Identify areas prone to water infiltration and recommend solutions to mitigate water damage and prevent moisture-related issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to façade maintenance and safety. Ensure compliance with regulations pertaining to façade inspections, access systems, and façade-related permits.
- Project Management and Coordination: Coordinate façade maintenance projects, including contractor selection, project scheduling, and budget management. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the proper execution of maintenance and repair activities. Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Client Consultation and Communication: Consult with building owners, facility managers, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and concerns. Communicate assessment findings, recommendations, and maintenance plans in a clear and accessible manner. Provide guidance on the importance of regular maintenance and the long-term benefits of investing in façade upkeep.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish systems and protocols for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of façade performance. Implement inspection schedules and performance benchmarks to track the effectiveness of maintenance strategies. Recommend adjustments or additional interventions as needed.
- Industry Research and Professional Development: Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in façade maintenance, preservation, and sustainability. Participate in professional development activities, conferences, and industry forums to expand knowledge and expertise.
- Other tasks assigned by HgP.

**Requirements**:

- Preferred Secret Clearance but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in façade inspection, maintenance, and repair, preferably in the construction, building envelope, or façade consulting industry.
- Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to façade maintenance and safety.
- Expertise in façade assessment methods, including non-destructive testing, thermography, and moisture detection.
- Understanding of waterproofing principles, sealant technologies, and water management strategies for building exteriors.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency measures and sustainable design practices applicable to building façades.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose façade issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams
