**What we're looking for**:
**To Succeed in This Role, You Need To**:

- **Strategic Communications Leadership**:

- Design and implement comprehensive communication strategies for retail, consumer, and government sectors, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency standards.
- Oversee and manage communication programs, ensuring they are executed seamlessly across various platforms and geographies.
- **Client Management**:

- Maintain and expand relationships with high-value global clients and local government authorities, ensuring their communications needs are met with strategic insight and creative solutions.
- Provide senior-level counsel and insight to clients, acting as a trusted advisor in all aspects of PR and communications.
- **Team Leadership and Performance Management**:

- Lead, inspire, and manage a large team of communication professionals, fostering an environment of excellence, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.
- **Fiscal Responsibilities**:

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for communication projects and client accounts.
- Ensure the profitability and financial health of the accounts under your management.
- **Business Development**:

- Actively seek out and secure new business opportunities, expanding the agency's presence and influence in the retail, consumer, and government sectors.
- Lead pitches and proposals, bringing innovative ideas and strategies to the forefront to win new clients and projects.
- **Collaboration and Coordination**:

- Work closely with other departments and teams within the agency to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client projects.
- Coordinate with global counterparts to share best practices, resources, and insights.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in PR and communications, with a focus on retail, consumer, and government sectors.
- Proven experience managing large teams and complex communication programs for global clients.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and government relations.
- Excellent client servicing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships.
- Demonstrated fiscal management abilities with a track record of managing profitable accounts.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in new business development, including leading pitches and crafting strategic proposals.
