**Responsibilities**:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for overall quantification and estimation of the project materials from drawings quantity takeoff of design documents for various projects.

- contracts depending on the scope of the project).
- Coordinate and monitor the contract change order process.
- Arrange for consultants to furnish client with substantiation of proposed variation orders in order to obtain timely approval.
- Oversee that other consultants provide recommendations in a timely manner in relation to variations submitted by the Contractors under the construction contracts.
- Evaluate, analyze and review contemplated variations in collaboration with the concerned consultants to identify the extent of financial exposure.
- Receive, estimate, negotiate and issue changes (variances).
- Prepare Budgets for outstanding and additional work.
- Monitor Completion by Phases.
- Work closely and support the Contracts/Commercial Manager in the stages of Project Sign-off and Finalize Account.
- Recording and preparing variations to the project cost due to change in the drawings/ specifications.
- Preparation of monthly invoices to the client as per contract conditions and compiling the vendor/ subcontractor bills, if applicable.
- Implementation of all processes with regard to costing and forecasting.
- Preparation of Cost-To-Completion reports.
- Development and improvement of relationships within Project Team and with subcontractors and suppliers
- Preparation of MIS Reports for management.
- Other activities, duties, and responsibilities required of the position as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and market conditions.
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of programs and/or other quantity take
- off software.
- Professional attitude and interpersonal relationship skills
- Must be able to multitask and meet established deadlines
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
