The Role
The Director of Interface in Landscaping plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the landscaping team and clients. This position is responsible for managing client relationships, project coordination, and ensuring the successful execution of landscaping projects, all while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, preferences, and objectives. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Project Coordination: - Collaborate with the landscaping design and installation teams to ensure project plans align with client expectations and are executed effectively. - Develop project timelines, budgets, and schedules, and oversee their adherence throughout the project lifecycle. Communication and Reporting: - Facilitate clear and timely communication between clients and the landscaping team, ensuring all parties are informed about project progress and changes. - Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to clients and senior management. Quality Control: - Ensure that all landscaping projects meet or exceed quality standards and adhere to industry best practices. - Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and address any issues promptly. Budget Management: - Collaborate with the finance department to monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability. - Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with the landscaping design, installation, and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless flow of information and resources. - Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment among team members. Customer Satisfaction: - Monitor and evaluate client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle, taking corrective actions as necessary. - Ensure all client needs and expectations are met or exceeded. Compliance and Regulations: - Stay up-to-date with local and state landscaping regulations, permits, and codes. - Ensure all landscaping projects comply with relevant regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Proven experience in project management, client relationship management, or a related role within the landscaping industry. - Strong knowledge of landscaping principles, techniques, and materials. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in project management software and tools. - Leadership and team management skills. - Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. - Knowledge of relevant local landscaping regulations and codes. - Strong customer service orientation.
