Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sector Director - Coastal to join our team In this role you will get to take responsibility for Parsons’s Coastal projects for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIP). Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), Jasara and Mace delivery partners and with external stakeholders. Reports directly to the Program Director.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Management of planning and delivery of coastal projects within the program and ensures operational and maintenance consistency across the program.
- Coordinate with other delivery partners (Jacobs and Mace), as well as QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.
- Engage with the Client Development leads and their Master planners / Concept Designers to ensure strategies and plans are properly developed through the lifecycle of the program.
- Implement agreed strategies, through delivery of workplans and other key documents and approaches in accordance with program requirements and accepted best practice.
- Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
- Leads on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with functional leads.
- Facilitates forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.
- Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.
- Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.
- Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline with minimum 20 years’ experience in mega construction and engineering projects, specifically strong experience across multi-disciplinary teams and functional teams and controls planning with multiple stakeholders.
- Must have extensive experience in project management, construction logistics and associated project controls and planning.
- Safety Qualification / Awareness Training.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to manage and work in a team, deliver objectives and targets.
- Strong Stakeholder, Client, Designer and Contractor Management skills.
