Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the regional procurement strategy in line with Corporate Procurement to maximize NOV’s leverage in terms of value and synergy throughout the region.
- Assess regional business requirements, lead strategy creation, execute tenders, evaluate offers, lead negotiations and award contracts through efficient category and contract management best practices.
- Negotiate contracts with strategic suppliers considering a total cost of ownership perspective, terms of service, and quality while working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Create business cases for identified category management wave plans. Utilize market intelligence to develop strategies to effectively drive value for the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership, legal, finance, and facility stakeholders to ensure robust strategies, contracts, risk management, and innovative approaches are in place.
- Ensure regional category management alignment for all NOV segments for preferred suppliers meeting facility-specific needs.
- Lead the change management process through influence and knowledge sharing of all strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Drive relationship management with strategic suppliers, plan and prepare supplier quarterly business reviews to manage performance and ensure accountability for service levels and cost.

Qualifications:

- Four Year Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of experience in either Category Management, Supply Chain, Procurement or Senior Buyer role

Travel is expected to be 10% to 15%.
