**Job Title**: Data Center Electrical Technician

**Position Reports to**: Data Center Engineer

**Location**: Tabuk, NEOM, Saudi Arabia

**SUMMARY**:Responsible for safely, efficiently, and effectively operating machinery and systems in a cost-effective manner. The Technician must ensure the highest level of professionalism, while meeting the client needs, and a commitment to achieving the goal of no downtime. Responsible for protecting and improving the value of the client assets and ensuring that building engineering systems continue to perform their intended function. Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, and controls located in the interior and exterior of building. Performs tests, rounds and analyzes data to ensure the proper functioning of departmental equipment.

**PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for adhering to and implementing all facility guidelines and procedures related to his work.
- Responsible for performing daily performance monitoring of electrical equipment during walk rounds.
- Responsible for following SOPs and EOPs during preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Responsible for executing Work Orders for minor preventive maintenance activities including non-invasive testing, Infra-Red (IR) analysis, inspections, lubrications, replacement of consumables, etc.
- Perform the maintenance and operation of electrical building systems including: fire/life safety, electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear), cabling (data and voice, broad band), lighting, critical environments, digital systems (fire alarm, card access, CCTV), and Audio/Visual services.
- At the direction of supervisor, maintaining, monitoring and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building electrical systems including: Lighting, UPS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, emergency backup systems; monitors operation, adjusts electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment. Requires the ability to analyze the operations of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action as required. Install and repair electrical components; wire single and three phase motors (single and two speed); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.; install motors; replace bearings in all types of motors and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment. Install, repair, and maintain electrical controls, switching, and motor controls.
- Responsible for escorting Vendors always during major preventive maintenance and during reactive and corrective maintenance.
- Responsible for checking that the maintenance is performed with respect to the Method of Procedures (MOP) provided by the Vendor.
- Responsible for executing isolation, shutdown, start-up, emergency shutdown and restoration procedures of all facility equipment whenever needed.
- Responsible for responding to unplanned events and emergency scenarios, and for sustaining data center operations.
- Responsible for escalating emergency failures and alarms to Facility Maintenance Supervisor and Vendors.
- Report any detected malfunction or any required changes to the executed procedures.
- Responsible for requesting necessary tools and parts for Work Orders execution and for returning tools and replaced parts once the work is executed.
- Responsible for maintaining tools in good conditions.
- Responsible for proper disposal of spares and consumables as per implemented policy.
- Advise on any enhancement to be made to the current SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs through formal change request.
