As a BIM Manager, your role is to oversee the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and technologies throughout the design, construction, and operation phases of projects. You will work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to optimize collaboration, streamline workflows, and maximize the benefits of BIM. Your responsibilities will include developing BIM standards and guidelines, training team members, coordinating BIM deliverables, and ensuring the effective use of BIM tools and resources.

**Responsibilities**
- BIM Implementation: Develop and implement BIM strategies, standards, and guidelines for project teams. Define BIM protocols, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in BIM processes.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and owners, to ensure effective information exchange and coordination. Implement and manage collaborative BIM platforms and tools to enable seamless collaboration and data integration.
- BIM Project Setup: Set up BIM projects, including file structure, project templates, and shared parameters. Define project-specific requirements and standards, including model element naming conventions, families, and properties.
- BIM Execution Planning: Develop BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for projects, outlining BIM goals, deliverables, responsibilities, and timelines. Coordinate with project teams to align BIM requirements with project milestones and deliverables.
- BIM Training and Support: Provide training and support to project team members on BIM tools, software, and workflows. Conduct workshops or training sessions to enhance BIM knowledge and skills within the organization. Serve as a technical resource for BIM-related issues and provide guidance as needed.
- Quality Control: Establish quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of BIM models and deliverables. Conduct regular model reviews and clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts or discrepancies.
- BIM Standards Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of BIM standards, templates, and libraries. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in BIM.
- BIM Content Management: Manage BIM content libraries, including families, templates, and construction assemblies. Ensure the availability and accessibility of standardized BIM components for project teams.
- BIM Coordination and Clash Detection: Coordinate and manage interdisciplinary BIM coordination meetings to identify clashes, resolve conflicts, and ensure clash-free construction documents. Utilize clash detection tools and techniques to identify and resolve clashes or discrepancies.

- BIM Data Management: Establish data management protocols and processes for BIM projects. Ensure the integrity, security, and efficient exchange of BIM data and models throughout the project lifecycle
- Other tasks assigned by HgP.

**Requirements**:

- Preferred Secret Clearance but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience in BIM implementation and management, preferably in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
- In-depth knowledge of BIM concepts, processes, and tools, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols, including but not limited to COBie, IFC, and OpenBIM.
- Strong understanding of interdisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and clash resolution processes.
- Proficiency in BIM software, data management platforms, and collaboration tools. - Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve BIM-related issues.
- Leadership abilities to guide and support project teams in BIM implementation and workflows.
- Familiarity with construction industry practices, processes, and terminology. Professional certifications in BIM, such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or Building SMART certification, are desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy cabling equipment and work in confined spaces.
