**JOB PURPOSE**

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.

Developing (including continuous) improvement and deploying Project Management Capabilities across lines of business and functions by:
Ensuring that designated Project Management Improvements are identified and deployed to the Business Unit, and that stakeholders are provided with regular updates on improvement progress.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Providing interfaces, domain expertise and knowledge in the delivery of Project Management Capability with all Project Management stakeholders.

Capturing, developing and discharging new and existing Project Management competencies and capabilities (Policies, Processes and Toolsets) to the Business Unit.

Implementing PM Assurance and Maturity Assessments as a way to measure the current capability levels and assist in identifying capability gaps, and subsequent evidence of delivery including associated benefit returns of strategic capability deployments.

Manage the PM Capability Development team that includes the development of improvement plans and the management and reporting of its execution.

Establishing Information and Knowledge Management capability that enables the capture of Lessons Learned and identification of Continuous Improvements within PM Governance and Capabilities.

Supporting and assisting with the development and deployment of Corporate Project Management Council and Performance Excellence capabilities.

Supporting the implementation of the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia “Fit for Purpose” activities / project.

Providing PM Functional representation at LoB Programme and/or Project reviews.

Deploying relationships between the PM function, business units, wider community & cross functions.

Support Corporate PM Council working groups as the nominated representative.

Holding responsibility for applicable financial budget identification and reporting against agreed headcount.

**RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION**

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically and logically. Flexibility and adaptability in developing new initiatives within Project Management remit.

Exposure to Corporate Project Management Governance requirement to be able to implement or escalate project \management issues within BAE Systems Saudi Arabia.

Project Management of complex major multinational contracts over a significant and diverse vendor base.

Management of large multifunctional, multi Business Unit Teams in a large multi-national environment in a complex, demanding and responsive environment.

Must be educated to a bachelor’s degree level preferably in Engineering or Project Management related discipline.

Must be accredited Project Management Professional obtained from a recognised Institute or Association.

Excellent communication skills, required to engage, and influence both SN/EE both the Project Management community, motivate and control team performance and discharge Line of Business Capability requirements.
