**Project Overview**:
Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently estimated at 94% complete. The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system. Riyadh’s population of nearly 6 million is forecast to increase to 8 million by 2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret design drawings and specifications to provide technical guidance to site teams across the project.
- Provide input to construction planning process by flagging work sequencing issues.
- Generate field change documents in parallel with Site Engineers and agree resolution with Construction and Resident Engineering teams.
- Co-ordinate with interfacing disciplines on site to resolve clashes between MEP equipment and CSA components and finishes.
- Support development of site mark-ups/as-builts of completed work to enable final as-built production.
- Manage relationship with client’s representative for assigned scope, with a focus on getting acceptance of technical changes and resolving non-conformances.

**Qualifications**:

- Typically requires bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or relevant discipline experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on work experience.
- Good knowledge of major industry or regulatory standards (e.g., NFPA) and installation practices of architecture components for commercial and public facilities such as metro stations, rail stations and other buildings.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders.
