We are Looking for an IT-Governance director for one of our clients based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

Job Summary:_** To lead the governance & planning unit by implementing the unit strategic objectives and initiatives overseeing the department strategy, performance, EA, innovation, and business excellence functions.

Roles & Responsibilities:_**
**1. Strategic Contribution**
- Direct the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and implement the strategic agenda of the IT Governance to deliver the company's vision and mission.
- _ Ensure that the strategy is translated into operational business plans for the _IT Governance _and monitor the performance._
**2. Leadership**
- Direct the activities of the IT Governance team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies and procedures.
- Build and lead a motivated, engaged and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals.
- Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to the company's vision, mission, values, fundamentals and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated team, and continuously improve performance.

**Budgeting**
- Lead the preparation of the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
**4.Core accountability**
- Lead the execution of an overall strategic vision for firm's IT including a detailed plan of action, prioritize IT projects based on a prioritization framework.
- Collaborate with Corporate PMO in the development of IT roadmap, including setting milestones, KPIs, timelines and assigning each plan to an owner,to ensure IT plans and budget are alignment with Company's strategies.
- Lead the company's Innovation and Digital Agenda with the Business Transformation function in order to provide input on business cases for new services and performance of existing services.
- Lead and help to identify strategic partnerships and/or solutions, to support on building strategic relationships with business owners.
- Lead and oversee the development and the implementation of the IT service portfolio, Business Intelligence and Insights reports in alignment with business needs.
- Lead and Oversee the company's IT department budget and projects portfolio and ensure the timely delivery of IT programs and projects in collaboration with development team, while ensuring adherence to Corporate PMO guidelines and standards.
- Provide input on the overall portfolio of the company's IT projects to Corporate PMO, by tracking and monitoring delivery progress and managing risks in a timely manner, while ensuring comprehensive progress reports are provided to Corporate PMO when required.
- Ensure the integrity of the IT Department to deliver on its commitment to the overall enterprise, by monitoring enterprise level value realization programs, ensure compliance to financial and operational metrics, and engage business in raising the awareness level of IT contribution to the overall firm's strategy.
- Review and approve all enterprise architecture principles, standards, and artifacts developed by enterprise architect, review and approve all enterprise architecture blueprints developed in accordance with EA standards and principles.
- Oversee the development and the updating of the long-term IT roadmap and inherit initiatives.
**5. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures**
- Manage the development and implementation of the IT Governance policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.
**_ Qualification, Experience & Skills_**
**Qualification**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or business-related area from an accredited institution is required
- An MBA or master’s degree in Information Systems or Strategy & Planning is preferred.
**Experience**
- 8-13 years of experience.
- 5+ years in a senior IT leadership role, demonstrating experience with IT systems and IT management at a senior level.
